Blockage of airway which cause of swallow any small object and feel difficulty in breathing is called chocking. When your pet swallow anything and stuck on their through then feel difficulty to breath, coughing, rubbing their mouth and gagging then be aware because your pet cat is chocking.
If you take pet cat then must take care of your pet and cant near an small objects of your pet cat because they swallow and its dangerous for your cat and if you don’t care its cause of death. Chocking is rare in cat as compare to dog.
Symptoms of choking:
Here are some symptoms you fell your cat is choking and immediately treat your cat.
• Feel anxiety or panic your cat when they chocking.
• Coughing and gagging your cat.
• Feel difficulty in breathing
• Pawing at their mouth and feel restless
• Faint and unconscious of your cat.
• salivation
• Bad breath and leakage of water their mouth and eyes.
• Air flow is completely blocked and enable to breathing.
When you feel these symptoms on your cat then alert and quickly start treatment of your pet cat.
Immediate care:
You may also start treatment immediately when you feel chocking of your pet cat and feel restless for swallow any foreign object.
Methods of treatment at home immediately:
• Firstly open their mouth quickly and pull their pet cat tongue forward. If you see any object near the throat then try to bring out with your fingers.
• If this method is not work then try Heimlich maneuver method for treatment of your pet cat chocking.
Heimlich maneuver method:
This method is effect but dangerous for your cat ribs.
Firstly lay down your pet cat and put their one hand on cat back and other hand on belly bellow the ribs. And give sharp push up and push in. then check the mouth of our pet cat foreign objects remove or not if you sure to remove the object then close your cat mouth and give small breath slowly through nose. You may also repeat this process if you can’t sure to remove foreign object.
If your cat not responds after this method then quickly check the pulse and heartbeat of your cat and take out for veterinary doctor.
Veterinary care:
When you treat at home and successful to treat your dog then also take out fro veterinarian check up and cure or heels for any other injury. Sometime all method are failed to release your cat for choking then quickly take out for veterinary doctor for treatment.
• Veterinary treatment:
Firstly doctor diagnose what to do your pet cat for this they take X-ray of your pet cat for known g the foreign object actually where occur and start treatment through frit aid instruments. If this method is also failed then start serious surgery of your cat. And treat your cat for their healthy life. In some cases cat death occurs.

• Leave the chocking items in your cat living environment.
• Small objects such as any small cap of pen or any other things, bones, small toys and any dangerous items from your act.
