Monsoon season comes with a relief form heated and fussy weather. It’s pleasant weather for all who worried from hot sunny days. Monsoon shower are welcome break yet it’s not good for our pets. It brings different skin infections, digestive problems and other health issues. Especially pet dog and cats are affected with monsoon rains. Pet are our responsibility we have to make necessary preparation to protect the harmful effects of rainy season. They need special care during rainy season. Cold, fever, flu, cough, pneumonia are major diseases common in both human and pet during the monsoon shower. What we have to do to protect out lovely pets. Bring your pet inside the home:
Keeping you outside the home is little dangerous in rainy season. So the first step it to bring in dog and cat in home or provide a suitable shed out of the house. In both conditions make sure that there is no chance of wetting the dog in rain. I suggest indoor living for pet in monsoon as it secure shelter the outside shed.
Involve pet in Indoor activities:
Something we bring pet dog inside the home in monsoon and forget them. It bigger mistake. You pet feel bore as they have no activity inside the home. They may find a chance to go outside for playing. Paws are sensitive area of the body easily become the vector of diseases. The best option is to keep pet healthier is to prevent them to walk on grassy, muddy and water floor. Dry bedding is necessary for pet in monsoon and other rainy day. Wet or moisturized bedding keep your pet discomfort all the night and there is also a chance of cough and fever. Provide warmth and heather bedding in rainy season. Covered bedding area is bet if your pet is spending most time in terrace and balcony.
Diet:
Pet are face digestive problem in monsoon weather. Take care of dog and cat die. Add fruits and extra fiber veggies are good for dogs. In rainy season they are not chance of outdoor activities and exercise. So it’s better to reduce the food intake to protect it of becoming overweight and unhealthy. Dry or cane food is not good for pet dogs and cats as it may leads to digestive disorders and gastroenteritis problems. Cook food and fresh veggies are good for them. Supply fresh and clean drinking water in clean and germ free bowls.
Vaccination:
Clearly examine your and always keep I in front of eyes in rainy season. Check the pet skin:

What not to do during rainy season:
• Do not bath the dog in rainy season. Dry shampoo is best option in monsoon season. If you feel necessary then take lukewarm water for bathing dog. Dry the pet fur accurately with towel or blow dryer.
• Do not let the dog allow pet to smell anything flaying on the ground especially when you bring them on road. There is greater chance of infections.
